How to reduce the failure rate of aerial work platforms?

1.      Hydraulic System Maintenance

·         Regularly check the hydraulic oil quantity, oil quality and oil circuit patency, and replace the contaminated or deteriorated hydraulic oil in time to avoid pipeline blockage or pump valve damage due to oil impurities.

·         Check the hydraulic pump, reversing valve and other key components. If leakage or wear is found, repair or replace them immediately.

         

2.      Electrical System Protection

·         Waterproof and dustproof the exposed electrical components, clean the dust regularly to prevent line corrosion or short circuit. For equipment with large vibration, check whether the wire connectors are loose.

·         Check the contacts of switch components such as contactors and circuit breakers to keep the contact surface flat to avoid malfunctions caused by poor contact.

 

3.      Lubrication and Replacement of Mechanical Parts

·         Regularly add lubricating oil to gears, cylinders, operating rods and other moving parts to reduce friction loss and extend service life.

·         If parts are found to be worn (such as wear of cylinder lifts), they should be replaced in time to avoid damage to other parts.

 

4.      Safe Operation Process

·         Check the platform functions (such as emergency stop device, safety protection device) before use to        ensure that the equipment is in normal condition.

·         If any abnormality is found (such as heavy operating lever, abnormal sound), stop the machine immediately for inspection to avoid operation with abnormality.
